And yet learn I did. Over the course of 6 hour long classes Stephanie shared details and minutiae that I either hadn't thought of or she solved problems that have been bugging me for years. I highly recommend, even fro experienced knitters. And for begginer sock knitters - I really wish I had access to something like this when I was starting out.
I knit these sock for my father out of yarn that feels like it could survive anything, so hopefully that solves the problem of his socks falling apart very quickly.
After finishing those I cast on for June's Stranded in Oz pattern, an interesting pair called Bleeps. Apparently they were tricky to design, but they were very straightforward and fun to knit. They look peculiar off the feet, but are perfectly comfortable in my ugg boots, which is pretty much all I wear these days.
I think they look amazing in HalfBaked Handdyed self-striping. I'm loving a chevron, and the effect it has on yarn.
