We went to the Women of Wool luncheon which was (as usual) tasty, entertaining and a nice chance to sit down!
Friday night was pizza at Suzanne's and more chats and laughs with friends.
Saturday I finished my shopping - I did very well, buying everything that was on my list, and nothing that was not:
From top to bottom, that's yarn for this cabled jumper, this colourwork jumper I'm going to make as a dress, the Drawing Sweater, Andrea Mowry's Rose Cardigan and Leon's Winter Set. Mmm, delicious yarn, delicious planning.
I also did well in the "lifestyle" section, buying lots of lovely things: tins for notions, tea, handwash, whiskey.Saturday night was the traditional group dinner at the Rifle Club Hotel, and it was a delight. Good food, good drink and good friends.
Sunday we packed up and, unable to get brunch in Bendigo (weird, but true) we headed to Castlemaine, were we also explored the Mill Market - which included a cheese and a chocolate shop. Yum.
This year was really wonderful. Even though we did all the usual things it was extra wonderful because of small things - staying with Kris and Katie, the weather, pretty sheep, all the Richmond Knitters, successful and not excessive shopping. It all added up to a very satisfying weekend.
Now I'm home, and I'm very tired. I'll put my stash on Ravelry in the next day or so, and report back about what the total is.
