I'm reading Nevernight by Jay Kristoff. Its a big, chunky meaty novel, which is perfect for curling up on the couch and really getting into. The perfect book for this time.
After picking up the crotchet hook again last week it has been a pleasure to have the time to crotchet. I'm again working from Granny Square Flair, and have progressed to some of the "moderate" squares.
And I'm knitting a test sock for Kat. It's a fairly straightforward sock, which makes a good break from the more mentally challenging crotchet.
And that's what I'm knitting, hooking and reading right now. To read my all my book reviews, and to see everything I knit, you can find me on Ravelry as Sharondoubleknit and on GoodReads as Sharondblk.I'm joining in with Kat from As Kat Knits for Unravelled Wednesday and Kat from the Bookdate for It's Monday, What Are You Reading. Thanks Kat and Kat for hosting these linkups.
Sorry to hear you are sick, but at least you still feel up to reading.
ReplyDeleteI’m so sorry you’ve been ill – COVID is no fun at all. Your crochet squares are lovely. Working them in a solid color certainly highlights their beautiful pattern!
ReplyDeleteFeel better! My granddaughter got Covid this week...my test was negative. So far!
ReplyDeleteGetting Covid is no picnic. After two weeks, I finally got a negative Covid test. Probably because I also have asthma, it went straight into my lungs. It was terrible. Even though I am over the virus part, it will take me a while to get my asthma back under control. I too have spent my time reading, knitting, sewing and binging on Miss Marple.
ReplyDeleteI hope you recover quickly! I also have a bad cold. I did consider CoVid but I don’t have any classic symptoms & I’ve done three RAT’s which have all been negative, though I’m staying home when I can just in case.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a great reading week
