My reading last week went to plan, but quicker, so after finished Taco (Object Lessons) I moved on to my next NetGalley review book Isn’t It Nice We Both Hate the Same Things by Jessica Seaborn.
It's great so far. People getting lost (and presumably found later, although that's the story) are my favourite kind of book.In knitting I started Luminos Tee:
Those two triangles are the sides. it's got a very interesting construction. It's going well, but slowed down by the fact that on Tuesday evening the first clue for Delectable Collectible Socks pattern by Stephen West dropped. No major spoilers, since it's a mystery knit-a-long, but you can just see the beginning of the cuffs
So now I'm knitting two things, but that is fine since the Tee is simple enough to knit out in public. All of this reading and planning and knitting has rather slowed down the spinning.
I've plied up two skeins, and I think I've got enough singles left to do another three. I'll just keep plying away on this when I have time. It's looking like a quiet weekend (for a nice change) so I may make some progress then.
To read my all my book reviews, and to see everything I knit, you can find me on Ravelry as Sharondoubleknit and on GoodReads as Sharondblk. I'm on BlueSky as Sharondblk.
I'm joining in with Kat from As Kat Knits for Unravelled Wednesday, Kat from the Bookdate for It's Monday, What Are You Reading and Sam from Taking on a World of Words for WWW Wednesday where we talk about what we are currently reading, what we have just finished and what we are going to read next.
I love the sound of a mystery knit along!
