Kris, Katie, Leon and I got back from the cruise this morning and I'm very tired. We had a late night last night, and then woke up when the ship docked this morning.
And every-day I got afternoon tea. I love afternoon coffee time. As far as cruises go I think it was very good.
The weather (unsurprisingly) was not warm - we were on the Bass Straight, after all. So there was no lounging by the pool, or in the pool, for us. It was very pretty though.
Despite the fun we had, I don't think cruising is really for me right now. I need action, I ned to move every day. There was a running track, which was 220 meters long. I ran around it 48 times. Our shore day was in Burnie, Tasmania. I have actually been there before. we went for a run and had lunch in a brewery. We also scored some great ties for future Bad Tie Mondays.
So it was a fun time, and a very safe and protected time, which does rather take the adventure out of it for me. I missed things like patting dogs and wandering around getting mildly lost, and while there was a lot of glorious sea and sky, there was a distinct lack of nature. I'm glad we cruised though, particularly with these two legends.
